Thousands
of people and businesses are watching the Online Video Toolkit
and reporting back with success stories about how they made their
first video and learned from the toolkit instructions.
THAT
IS AWESOME! So we're going to list them on this page... as many
as we can. So if you have watched the videos here, and you used
them to make a video, please send us a link of the video to jim
at jimkukral (dot) com with your testimonial and we'll add it
here.
"I
feel so fortunate to have run across your site early in
my research on how to make a video! My nephew at Yale pointed
me to it. Shazam! I had started looking at cameras. My brain
fried quickly looking at the billion options, formats, etc
ad naseum. A small business owner, my first quick impression
was - man! This is gonna be one big time sink I can't afford
right now. But....I wanted to have more than words, words
on our site.
You certainly made the whole thing TONS
simpler. And, best of all you inspired me to believe I really
could do this cheaply, quickly and with little aggravation.
My hat's off to you!
I love the Flip! I made my first little
video the first day I got the Flip (poorly edited but still
- I've seen worse on You Tube) and was so thrilled I already
put it up on our web site's front page. I have plans for
more - it's just taking the time now that I have a feel
for it.
Thanks again! Our video is on the front
page of our site - link below."
Jim Kukral's Comments on this video: This
is a great video. I'm amazed at how good it turned out.
It makes me want to shop at the store, don't you now too?
This was their first video? Amazing. If you can put together
something this good on your first try you're way ahead of
the game. This works perfectly on their home page, nice
work!
Yeah
- I know it's rough (first time), but I was amazed at how
right you were on how easy it is to make such a thing.
Sincerely,

Jim Kukral's Comments on this video: I'm
blown away really. Yet another really good "first"
video. My first videos weren't this good. I love this video
because it take the viewer/customer right into the world
of trees. Touching them, looking at them, talking all about
them. Truly awesome. See, anyone can do this stuff.
"Jim,
here's my most recent video for a project called The Mistake
Bank (www.mistakebank.com),
a place to share stories of business mistakes and failures.
When I first started making videos, I struggled with lighting.
Some of my earlier efforts look really lousy as a result.
Your how-to program on lighting really helped. As you see,
my office has a lot of natural light, but using it the right
way wasn't easy! Thanks for the guidance.
I use
the Flip as well. I love how easy it is to transport, the
battery life, and how simple it is to get videos onto the
computer.

Jim Kukral's Comments on this video: The
lighting is very good in this video. Good natural light.
This is a great first video. It's a bit too long though,
and could use more editing to make it more watchable. However,
you were on point and kept your pace. Great work. Next time
make it shorter. Hey, my first video was way worse than
this!
